Six Best Features Of The Motorola Cliq XT
The Motorola Cliq XT is on the market and it has reached the T-Mobile site. Let’s take a look at some of the better functions of this phone, on its own and in comparison to its predecessor, the original Motorola Cliq.
1) Screen – Any smart phone stepping into the market today must have a good touch screen. This is the main difference between the Motorola Cliq XT and the original Cliq. The screen is 3.1 inches in size (diagonally), sporting pixel dimensions of 320 x 480. Motorola has done away with the slider keyboard on the XT and like the iPhone, it has a capacitive touch screen for keyboard entry.
2) Structure – The XT has a unique shell that really feels great to the touch. The frame has a nice texture so you can always keep a good grip on it and it’s easy to carry, even if you put it in your purse or pants pocket. All the buttons and ports are placed in practical places. The micro USB near the bottom left, the power button near the top right, with the headset jack on top as well. The 2-stage camera is just below the power button and really does an excellent job of auto-focusing before a picture is taken.
3) Functions – At the bottom of the phone is a trackpad with two buttons on either side. The buttons themselves are textured as well which makes it easy to find them by touch since they are set flush with the frame. The trackpad itself is responsive and quick.
4) Sound – The clarity of the conversation is excellent, just as you would expect from a Motorola device.
5) Battery – This device has a relatively good battery life. With a full day of normal use, both talk and data, it will last until the night, needing to be charged every 24 hours probably just to be safe.
6) Reception – The signal reception is excellent which makes calling and receiving data a snap. This device also comes with Wifi capabilities.
This is a great phone to get if you have been pondering getting the Cliq. It takes a lot of what made the Motorola Cliq popular and added some good enhancements.
